Rally Mind privacy policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
- No account, no name, no email address.
- No ads and no tracking across apps.
- Anonymous usage statistics, which you can turn off in the settings.
Who publishes Rally Mind
Rally Mind is published by Tyneo Consulting (Samuel Kauffmann). For any question about this policy or your data, write to contact@tyneo.net.
What stays on your iPhone
Your progress (rounds, stars, streak) and your settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent anywhere and are removed when you delete the app.
Anonymous usage statistics
To understand how the game is used and to improve it, Rally Mind sends usage statistics:
- a random identifier, created at install time, which is not linked to your identity, your Apple account or your device’s advertising identifier;
- what you do in the game: screens opened, rounds started and finished, answers to situations, response times, explanations viewed, settings changed;
- a few technical details: language, screen size, device type and iOS version.
Rally Mind never collects your name, email address, location, contacts or your device’s advertising identifier.
These statistics rely on our legitimate interest in improving the game (GDPR article 6.1.f). You can object at any time by turning them off.
Where these statistics go
They are processed by Umami, an audience measurement tool we host ourselves on a server located in the European Union (Hetzner, Finland). They are never sold, shared or used for advertising.
Your IP address is only used, when an event is received, to group the events of one session. It is not stored.
Statistics are kept for 25 months at most.
Turning statistics off
In the app, open Settings → Privacy and turn off “Share anonymous statistics”. It takes effect immediately: nothing more is sent and events waiting on your device are deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, erase and object to the processing of your data. Since the statistics cannot identify you, we cannot always find the ones about you; write to contact@tyneo.net and we will do our best.
You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its update date.
